Darren spent a decade as a sports reporter after graduating from Washington State University with a degree in Communications. His work has appeared in local newspapers The Seattle Times, The Post-Intelligencer and The Daily Herald as well as in national college basketball magazines. Another decade or so was spent in the collectibles industry, where his passion for sports trading cards was rekindled from his Snohomish childhood. An avid sports fan, Darren follows the Seahawks, Cougars and Mariners — and has adopted the Golden State Warriors as his NBA team while eagerly waiting for the SuperSonics to return.
