Stephen is from Pearl City, Hawaii. He graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Motor Behavior. He then attended George Fox University in Newberg, OR graduating in April 2021 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and also a coauthor of a published article in the journal of Physical Therapy in Sport titled “Rotator cuff strength is not augmented by blood flow restriction training.” He enjoys working with patients of all ages and is interested in treating sports-related injuries. His treatment approach focuses on building resiliency through exercise and education to help patients reach their goals and return to activities that are meaningful to them. Stephen has a data driven approach and believes in the importance of collaborating with his patients for the best physical therapy experience. In Stephen’s free time, he enjoys working out and exploring Seattle with his wife, daughter, and two dogs.
